Toshiba Releases Core i3, i5, i7-Based Laptops

Toshiba announced today the new Satellite, Qosmio, and Tecra laptops with the latest Intel Core i3, i5 and Core i7 mobile processors.
The Core i3/i5/i7-powered series include the Satellite L505, L555, A505, P505, M505, and U505, the Qosmio X505, and the Tecra A11.
The Satellite L505 is an affordable everyday notebook with a 15.6-inch display and the CPU choices including the Intel Core i3-330M and Core i5-430M dual core chips. It starts at $459.99.
The L555 has the same internal components as the L505, but a larger 17.3″ display and a $649.99 base price.
Toshiba’s Satellite A505 16-inch entertainment laptop comes with the i3-330M and i5-430M, as well as with the quad-core Core i7-720QM. The A505 also features optional NVIDIA GeForce graphics. Prices start at $769.99.
The Satellite P505 multimedia-oriented desktop replacement laptop has an 18.4″ screen and the Core i3-330M or i7-720QM processor, and the optional GeForce 310M discrete GPU. The cheapest P505 costs $799.99.
For multimedia on the go, there’s the Toshiba Satellite M505 with a 14-inch display, the i3-330M chip, and a base price tag of $699.99.
Finally, the U505 13.3-incher ships with the Core i3-330M or Core i5-430M, optional touchscreen display and optional WiMAX connectivity. It starts at $649.99.
The Toshiba Qosmio X505 high-performance consumer notebook is already available with the Core i7-720QM processor, but now it additionally provides a choice of the i5-430M. Furthermore, it sports the new NVIDIA GeForce GTS 360M gaming video card. The X505 starts at $1,199.99.
The business-class Tecra line is expanded with the i3-330M/i5-430M/i7-720QM-based 15.6″ Tecra A11, also boasting optional GeForce graphics. The price tag for the basic A11 is $879.99.
