Panasonic today rolled out the Panasonic VIERA GT25 Full HD 3D Plasma TV that features 42-inch class (41.6-inch measured diagonally) and 50-inch class (49.9-inch measured diagonally) screen sizes. The GT25 Series also includes 2D to 3D conversion which can convert a 2D image or video to 3D. The Active Shutter 3D Eyewear (sold separately) is required for viewing 3D content. The 42-inch model (TC-P42G25) retails for $1699.95, while the 50-inch model (TC-P50GT25) is priced at $2099.95. Both models will be available in late August 2010.
